Transcribed Shirley entries from "The marriage license bond
of Northumberland County, Virginia from 1783 to 1850", Nottingham,
Stratton, FHL Microfilm #0032712, item 2.
I also discovered today that I had inadvertently failed to transcribe
the Shirley entries on page 107 of the Norrthumberland County, VA Records of Birth 1661 -
1810 book I posted a while ago. My apologies for the error. It
has been corrected.

I changed the main Shirley page to state that the image files have not
been modified "unless otherwise noted." I originally didn't have this
phrase, but when I had to black out a living individual's name on a
record for privacy reasons, I realized that this wasn't exactly true
anymore. My guilty conscience made me change it.

Added Eva Mae SHIRLEY's death certificate (and a slightly later correction).
Added Shirleys I found in Cavaliers and Pioneers: Abstracts of
Virginia Land Patents and Grants, Volume 1 (1623-1666)".

First off, I added a "What's New?" page.
Added a Marriage License/Certificate for Oliver P. M. SHIRLEY and
Navada ESHELMAN. Apparently she was his first wife but died shortly
after the marriage (according to my information at least). I never
see her name mentioned in any of the SHIRLEY family information I've
run across. If anyone has any more information about her, please let
me know!
