Security Tools on the Sharp Zaurus

It's true. This is a bare bones web page. That's because I'm far more interested in security than web design, I'm afraid. I hope you'll overlook my lack of style and concentrate instead on the quality of the content.

Unless otherwise indicated, all of this information applies to the Zaurus SL-6000L.

So, speaking of content, what's here? Not much yet. I only received my Zaurus recently, but already I've been doing some work. Here are two things you might be interested in:

First, there's my Zaurus + Kismet + External Antenna HOWOTO. I do wireless audits at work, which was the main reason we bought the Zaurus in the first place. It turns out that none of the available CF-based WiFi cards accept external antenna hookups, which is critical for a good audit. I did a little integration work this document is the result. Short answer: not only did I get it working, but with a 200mW "long-range" card to boot, which really draws in the distant signals.

I've also been experimenting with cross-compiling software for the Zaurus. So far I have a few things, but the only one I'm ready to release is my IPKG of nmap-3.70 (md5sum: 61783ee711f1b267947d093426c603d2).
